What is your leadership algorithm, at the highest level?
The operating system on your computer, your OS, is a complex weave of algorithms, or sets of instructions, that, when booted up, sets the stage for the user to complete a set of tasks.
The specific algorithms are hidden from our view, because they run in the background, instructing our computer on how to carry out its protocol.
Are we not also filled with algorithms that give instructions for how we meet our lives, our work, our roles? We have protocols for how to address problems, how to find our juice in the morning, how to be climb the ladder…
Consider the popularity of Reddit, one of the most sourced platforms in a Google search, where advice and options are offered freely and in abundance. Or the proliferation of “how to” videos on YouTube. Perhaps we either think we have the algorithm, the how-to, or we need one.
Leadership algorithms are not one-size-fits-all. Depending on stage, age, gender, culture, economic status, level of leadership, outlook, context…one can find multiple different leadership algorithms, informing an overall leadership operating system.
There is a kind of leadership algorithm that is inclusive of all your considerations, and of your highest why. There is a suite of instructions you can access that will help you meet this moment of unprecedented times with unprecedented solutions.
Algorithms as living, breathing operating instructions, will be in a constant state of refresh. When we rely on algorithms of the past, we miss the steps that will meet what is incoming from the future.
Consider updating your internal leadership OS. Allow your internal sets of instructions to be informed by your Deep Core Codes.
A way to begin: be present to the idea that among the many algorithms informing your next move, is a possible set of steps that could inform your highest why. Imagine the highest why of your enterprise delivered in the marketplace, unprecedented.
